My mid-to-late 20s were a time in my life when I thought I was on the right path. I was told from a young age to do well in school, go to college, get a good job, and if you were lucky enough to make $100k+, you'd have made it.
So, I worked hard. Used my chemistry degree from CWRU to find work while I pursued a master's degree in athletic coaching (a true passion). Now, coaching didn't pay as much as working in science, so I ended up staying in science, as I saw it as the fastest way to reach $100,000+.
I did it! I made it to my salary goal, and then...
I looked around at my life and realized something strange.
By every external measure—I had made it.
Good, stable, steady income.
Nice home.
Nice cars.
Credibility.
Respect.
The kind of “success” that younger me never truly thought possible.
And yet... there was this quiet, gnawing question in the background:
“Is this it?”
Not because I was ungrateful.
But because I was unfinished.
Because success had started to feel like a prison made of praises and prizes.
Everyone tells you success leads to freedom.
But for high-achieving leaders like us, success often becomes the very thing that traps us.
You don’t need another planner, productivity hack, or 3-step blueprint to optimize your already-busy life.
You don’t need a mindset coach to tell you to hustle harder or manifest faster.
What you need is to rewire your relationship with success itself.
You need to stop upgrading what exists—and start designing what doesn’t.
You need to stop optimizing and start creating!
That’s what this blog is about.
A relationship with your future self—the version of you that already knows who you’re becoming, what truly matters, and what no longer fits.
This isn’t some woo-woo hype or psychobabble.
This is deeply practical.
Just like any meaningful relationship—personal or professional—it takes work, time, and intentional commitment.
It’s ever-evolving. Sometimes challenging. Always revealing.
And when you stay in relationship with your future self, everything changes.
It matters for the money.
But even more, it matters for the meaning.
For the truth that doesn’t fade.
For the “you” that was always trying to emerge.
“Things” will come and go.
But your future self is always with you—
ready to guide you, support you, and encourage you when the world feels foggy.
Some people don’t understand this idea of a Future Self.
And yet… they pray to their "God."
This relationship is just as real.
And just like you had to learn to hear "God’s" voice,
you can learn to hear the voice of your future self.
It takes practice. But the connection is there.
And when you listen, it leads you not just to better outcomes…
but to a more aligned, unshakable version of yourself.
This blog is where that relationship deepens.
Where we tune out the noise of success-as-usual, and start listening to the quiet, powerful voice of who we’re meant to be.
I’ll be sharing:
The bold frameworks I use with high-level executives and visionary teams
Real stories from clients (and my own life) about identity shifts, not just behavior changes
Deep insights from axiology, neuroscience, and leadership science
And the ideas fueling the neurelytics platform I’m building to help leaders like you make better decisions using your unique cognitive assets
Because when you build a relationship with your future self, every decision becomes clearer.
Every action more intentional.
And the results? More aligned, more fulfilling, and far beyond anything a goal alone could give you.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re carrying the weight of your own success...
If you’ve built a life that looks great on paper, but feels misaligned in your soul...
You’re not broken.
You’re being invited into something beyond.
This is your space to explore it.
To lead boldly.
To live freely.
To reconnect with the version of you that was never meant to settle.
Let’s go beyond.
